PROVISIONAL RULES
In order to formalize CAN-LA rules, we propose the following Provisional Rules that will govern until the election of Regional Coordinator in 2010. This will elect a Reorganizations Committee that governed by the following Rules:
1- All organizations participating in the workshop of Bs.As, are members of CAN-LA / CAN, who have filled the application of membership and complying with the conditions of CAN´s membership.
2-In the case of the entry of new organizations as members of CAN-LA, the Reorganization Committee will receive applications through the forms referred to this effect, together with letters of recommendation from two members of CAN-LA. The Reorganization Committee shall examine the applications and, if it is necessary, they may request expanded information in order to make a decision. Once adopted, it will be communicated to all members and it will take the final decision by consensus, on time.
3- It will make a new mailing list of CAN-LA in Yahoo or Google with two addresses of each of the members. This will be the official channels of communication. It is the responsibility of members to inform the Reorganization Committee about changes in the address or the register of the responsible persons.
4-The Reorganization Committee main function's will be to coordinate activities leading to the implementation of the 2010 work plan approved in the House of Buenos Aires. In order to meet the above tasks you may convene working groups that would support you. This call is open to all members.
5- The Reorganization Committee shall inform, at least monthly, on its activities to members through the official electronic mailing list.
6 -Any decision that is deemed important for the purposes of CAN-LA must be brought to the attention of member organizations through the official electronic mailing list. It always seeks consensus. The lack of response to the proposal of the Reorganization Committee within a week was considered as an abstention and it will not affect the consensus.
7- The Provisional Rules expire the next day to approve the new regulation.
